Kara Frazier, LMHC

Primary Therapist

Kara is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her passion for life led her to work professionally in the mental health field. Over the last 8 years she has been focused on promoting healing to those individuals suffering from addiction. She has a well-rounded education graduating with a BS in Psychology and Minors in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Elon University, and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She dove into her career immediately working as a therapist while obtaining supervision for licensure. Kara is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) giving her possessing a broad range of knowledge working in all levels of care including detox, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. Her experience makes her eminently suitable for this field of practice. She is extremely empathetic and compassionate by nature. Her clinical abilities and strengths feature CBT, DBT, Behavior Modification, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma, Activity Based Learning, and Role Play. Her love for life developed by spending time with family and traveling often. Her goal while working with others is to allow them to remember:
